salam. i had just finished watching this great movie. i'm sure most people have seen it, but it would be better for us to watch it again and again. to always remind us their endless efforts in upholding His religion. looking at Abu Talib who remained as a non muslim till his last breath, i feel so blessed to be born as a muslim.
"Neither those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) nor Al-Mushrikin (the idolaters) like that there should be sent down unto you any good from your Lord. But Allah chooses for His mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of great bounty." (2:105)
there were so many people out there still confused and looking for the right path, the real meaning of life. but Allah has generously given me His ultimate blessing. to be born as a muslim. 1400 years ago, many strove so hard to protect their deen. they were being isolated for 3 years. they starved. life was the price to pay for saying 'there is no God but Allah, and Muhammad saw is His messenger'. and now, we can freely practise islam without such difficulties. the doors of opportunities are wide open to practise and spread our deen. so, my brothers and sisters, appreciate our deen. do not merely inherit it but understand it. for He can take it away from us anytime. na'udzubillah.
هُوَ الَّذِى بَعَثَ فِى الأُمِّيِّينَ رَسُولاً مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـتِهِ
وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَـبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبْلُ لَفِى ضَلَلٍ مُّبِينٍ
وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَـبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبْلُ لَفِى ضَلَلٍ مُّبِينٍ
He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His Ayat, purifying them, and teaching them the Book and the Hikmah. And verily, they had been before in manifest error. (62:2)
